PUBLIC NOTICE:

As of Wednesday, June 17, 2026, the Criminal / Traffic division will relocate from room C-10 to room 113.  Please proceed to room 113 on the first floor for any business concerning criminal or traffic matters.

Due to an unexpected water leak in Courtrooms N and O:

  • DCSS, Small Claims, and Traffic matters will be heard in Courtroom D  
    • DCSS remote appearances use the Zoom link for Courtroom O
    • Small Claims and Traffic remote appearances use the Zoom link for Courtroom N
  • The 8:30 a.m. misdemeanor arraignment calendar will be heard in Courtroom M.

News Release

Public Notice for Unclaimed Funds through December 31, 2025

As of Monday, March 16, 2026, public notice via the Marin Independent Journal has been given that it is the intent of the Superior Court of California, County of Marin to transfer all or part of $250,669.46 held in the Operations Fund, Stale Dated Checks; $125,945.45 held in Trust Fund, $52,146.01 Stale Date Civil; $71,619.00 held in Trust Fund, Criminal Unclaimed; and $959.00 held in Trust Fund, Unreconciled Civil and Criminal for other parties by May 1, 2026. A second notice will be given on March 23, 2026. The complete list is available here. This list represents both past deposits for civil and criminal proceedings that have not been fully disbursed or refunded, and uncashed payments made to individuals and entities. These funds have remained unclaimed for more than three years despite the Court’s attempts to contact the recipient(s). The deadline to submit claims is before April 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. PST. Any of the listed monies not successfully claimed by the deadline are deemed the property of the Court as of May 1, 2026 pursuant to California Government Code §68084.1 and will be transferred to the Court’s operating account.
